Blog 3: Are you for sale?

Are you for sale?

Most of us will say "no we're not" but they're providing their sensitive data unconsciously. We're providing so much data in our social media accounts, in a messenger my day feature, we constantly upload what recently happened in our life. Without our consent our data might be used for unethical doings in the net, cybercriminals use every possible way to get your sensitive data and maybe sell it in the dark web.

Beware of anything free.

Perhaps the most personal aspect of us is our data. Selling it, on the other hand, is a multibillion-dollar enterprise. Because businesses generate money by selling our data, free applications and services are free. Our digital fingerprints are being collected and sold by companies: our personal data, our actions, and our inclinations. Although we freely choose to use these corporations' services and goods, the majority of us do so without fully knowing how our data is used or what we are giving up.
